Elizabeth Love and Sue Reilly are Australia-based Speech Language Pathologists who also have qualifications in education. They have worked extensively with individuals who have speech and language impairment and have a particular interest in the relationship between language and literacy development.
This website offers free newsletter articles and activities about oral language and literacy.

Jane Henderson’s STA Newsletter
Communicate Speech Pathology provides training and support for the Communicate Speech Therapy Assistant (STA) Program, an innovative program designed to deliver a more effective speech therapy service in schools. The STA program is now implemented in over 250 primary and secondary schools in Victoria.
The Speech Therapy Assistant Newsletter is available as an online newsletter. Each term a newsletter full of tips and information will be emailed to you.

TheraSimplicity is an online collection of useful tools, illustrations, worksheets, exercise sheets, explanations and reference materials for therapists in a wide range of professions. TheraSimplicity offers a thirty day free trial offer to those interested.

This website is packed with free resources for early language and literacy development. Thousands of printable ideas (from a former Language Arts Specialist) covering topics such as: word work, contractions, work families, alphabet, blends and much, much more.

K – 3 Teacher Resources
Free resources for early language and literacy development OR you can pay a $20 subscription and access even more resources.
The whole website is worth looking at.

Lesson Pix

Another website with a great selection of materials for therapy. It’s quite simple to use: simply select pictures and what resources you want to use them on, and print them. It’s also great for teachers. I love that they have a blog site packed full of ideas. Best of all, it requires only a small fee (only $24/year) to use.


Caroline Bowen

A well respected and prolific SLP in Australia, Caroline Bowen’s site is a treasure for both parents and speechies alike. It is full of SLP-related resources (freebies), links, and information. A very thorough site. A must visit.
